B-52 Inver Grove Heights

We went out to eat dinner tonight at B-52, a restaurant that is right off highway 52 and 494 in Inver Grove Heights. And I wanted to share what we had and what we thought of the food, so here is what we got and our ratings.

Wednesday Special 20 wings and fries for $13
Wings tossed in B-52 sauce, ranch dressing, fries and celery
Overall rating: 6/10
Although the B-52 sauce had ghost peppers in it, it was only slightly hotter than a buffalo sauce and tasted like it as well, which was disappointing. Also the wings were a bit oily, but not in a good kind of way. The outside of the chick was dry, but the inside was not. Fries were also just ok.

Bloody Mary
Overall Rating: 3/10
I am very particular about my bloody mary mix and this was not good. It was supposed to be a spicy Bloody, but it was only a black pepper kind of spicy.

B-52 Burger with Sweet Potato Fries
Overall Rating: 7/10
- The hamburger patty 8/10, cooked medium rare
- The whole burger 5/10 was just so so, thought thtere would be more flavor but there wasn't
- Sweet potato fries a 6/10, was crispy but didn't have a strong sweet potato flavor, still prefer the Trail Stop Tavern's sweet fries. Those are a 10/10!

Dracarys Burger
Overall Rating: 8/10
- The hamburger patty 8/10, cooked medium rare
- The whole buger 8/10, full of flavor
- The ghost pepper strawberry sauce 10/10, it is to die for. It has just the right amount of kick from the ghost pepper with a touch of sweetness from the strawberry to balance out the heat.
- Tatortots 6/10 it seemed like it was a cooked in old oil. The tots were a bit dark brown.
